Douglas Mennin is Professor of Clinical Psychology at Columbia University, USA. He has held faculty positions at New York University, Yale University, Hunter College of the City University of New York. He currently serves on the editorial board of several journals, and is chair of the Scientific Council of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. His research is focused on utilizing affect science perspective to understand and treat anxiety and mood disorders. Dr. Mennin has also developed Emotion Regulation Therapy, which is an integrative mind-body psychotherapy that draws from contemporary approaches as well as affect science and neuroscience.
